What methods of payments do you accept?We accept: Cash, Credit and Debit Cards, Apple Pay, and Venmo. We also accept payment over the phone at time of booking. For added convenience, our drivers are equipped with a point-of-sale device, allowing you to securely tap, insert, or swipe your card directly in the vehicle.

What are your hours of operation?Our OFFICE is available to answer questions and schedule your transportation requests: Monday- Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. *After hour needs; someone will be available, leave a message and we will return your call.* Our DRIVER operating hours are flexible: Transportation is available by appointment. Call to schedule. We will make every attempt to accommodate same-day requests when possible. *Sunday and holiday rates are available scheduled in advance*

What is your service area?Our primary service area is Fort Gratiot, Port Huron, Marysville, and the surrounding areas. Accommodations may be made for other service areas with advanced notice. Call our office for availability and pricing details.

Will my Insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare pay for my transportation?Transportation services are normally not a covered benefit with health insurance policies. You will need to contact your insurance provider to access your benefit coverage. Medicaid/Medicare may provide reimbursement to members for non-emergent medical transportation, but we are unable to bill these organizations directly. With advanced notice, we are able to work with your worker's compensation or auto accident insurance companies. Call our office for details.

Is Aroundtown Transportation LLC licensed and insured?Aroundtown Transportation is a registered company with the State of Michigan and meets all of the required guidelines for insurance and safety equipment. Our company is licensed, insured, and bonded.

Do I need to be waiting outside or at the curb for pick-up?Absolutely Not! Our drivers are happy to provide assistance every step of the way. Whether you're at home, in an apartment, assisted living facility, or hospital, we'll help you in and out of your residence or room. We'll also assist you into the vehicle, accompany you to your appointment, and ensure you are checked in. When it's time to transport back, we'll provide the same level of care and support to get you back safely and comfortably.

How far in advance do I need to schedule my transportation request?We ask that you try to give us 24 to 48 hours notice, but same day transportation may be available. Every accommodation will be made if scheduling permits.

Do I have to be in a wheelchair to use your service?Not at all! Our service is open to everyone, regardless of mobility level. Whether you no longer drive, your family isn't available, you'd rather not drive that day, or the weather makes driving difficult, we're here to provide reliable transportation to meet your needs.

Can my caregiver ride along with me to my appointment?Definitely! Your caregiver can ride along at no additional cost.

What if my companion and I are both in wheelchairs and need a ride?No problem! Our van is equipped to take two wheelchairs at once.

What if I require oxygen for the transport?We do NOT supply or regulate oxygen, but we CAN transport you. Your chair must have a holder for an oxygen tank and you or your facility are responsible to make sure your tank is full for your round trip.
